This website shows my work as a PhD researcher in mathematical biology with a particular interest in how we can use mathematics to outsmart cancer. (And to balance out all the science, I have added some of my art too.)

After completing my PhD, I have moved on to learn about mathematical modelling of the immune system and its interactions with therapeutic proteins in the Pharmaceutical Research and Early Development (pRED) department at Roche.

To find out what my cancer-related research is all about, you can choose whether you would prefer to read a technical or non-technical explanation, or to watch a video:

You can further read about my public outreach activities as a Poster Finalist at the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Awards, an Associate Researcher at St Leonards School, the inductee to the Hall of Fame at Holyrood Highschool and the TakeAIM winner on my page. I was awarded the Silver StAndEngaged Badge for my outreach work at the University of St Andrews Public Engagement Awards 2018.

Finally, you can find out about my teaching, the StAMBio group and have a look at my CV.

If you have any questions, suggestions or would like to say ‘hi’, please feel free to email me.
